![]() ![]() If anything, a viable Ludi would be much more true to the KMS experience, who didn't have all these TMS/JMS/SEA areas, and Ludibrium was significantly more relevant as a result. Yes, Spooky World and MP3 might've been popular maps in GMS, but back in my day, like before 4th job/Leafre, there was actually a very strong party play scene in Ludibrium, and a lot of people would be saying "J>MDT/GPQ" on Channel 1 under LMPQ. Taking that into account, why should this be the case? Does Dream really need to be like all the other private servers? You can't tell me it's because it's important to stay true to the official GMS v83 because there's already all kinds of custom content. Could there not be a better match? The problem is, Ludibrium's mobs do not have the best HP/EXP ratio or spawn, so seasoned preBB veterans will always preference the more popular Malaysia/Singapore/Ulu maps, which are historically very popular on private servers. ![]() What is Dream? A server that emphasizes party play. Obviously this has little to do with gameplay, which is what most people care about, which brings me to my second point: Ludibrium's maps are huge and designed for party play. Even without reading any text whatsoever, descending the Ludibrium clocktower tells a more interesting story than you'll find in most triple-A games through artistic vision alone. Even in the year 2021 where modern Maplestory has all kinds of cool new graphics, Ludibrium STILL looks aesthetically awesome after all these years. Why? Firstly, because it's the last area Wizet designed before being absorbed by Nexon, and it's one of the coolest areas in the game. What we really need is a whole area buff for Ludibrium.
